This client wasn’t able to finance the full four units in one go, so our advice was to set the development up as a staged development. Our design team were able to come up with a quadruplex subdivision that would allow us to retain the old house at the front, whilst the 2 rear units were constructed. Once they were complete, the bank was then happy to finance the front 2 units.
